We pretty much have the Warlingham Fair arena events lined up with a mixture of popular favourites and innovative new items.

Historia Normannis will be back with their medieval camp and causing mayhem in the arena, with lots more knightly bashing and crashing.

New this year (we know it’s new, because we just invented it) is cycle challenge (OK we need a better name) run and sponsored by local cycle specialist North Downs Cycles.

A series of mountain biking teams will run a set of no-holds-barred races through a course of obstacles which will test their ingenuity and skill with a spanner as much as their cycling. The central obstacle will be a wall with a hole, sized to only allow the bikes through in bits, so they have to be taken apart and put back together again on the other side.

Other popular items will be the high energy Warlingham Dance Studio, Valgray’s dog agility display, Warlingham Village School’s maypole dancing and the traditional Tug o’ War.
